AG: Melinoe by RoroZoro AG: Melinoe by RoroZoro
Quick and dirty sketch of Melinoe before bed. I try not to play favorites....but she's it!
Melinoe is Hades and Persephone's youngest daughter as well as the Goddess of Ghosts (And terrors and fear) If you look into her eyes you'll be struck by fear and immobilized. She hated that about herself and always covered her face, Persephone would pin her hair back with flowers. She snuck into Hecate's potion room and tried concocting an elixir to take away her power. The end result was shift her power into her arms (Which made them black and glowy) This picture is about an age where she has no control of either one, she'll eventually grow strong enough to control and bend it to her will.

My FAVE minor goddess once I learned about her, especially with the possibility of her being Hades and Persephone's daughter.

(its been a year late reply!)

I absolutely love Melinoe, she is one of my favorites as well, and yes, in my series, her parents love her very much, but she doesn't see it all the time because she cant see past her own deformities. But Hades in my head is a very protective father of his daughters (Sons, not so much)
